The Princess Grace Irish Library, Monaco is delighted to partner with the Blackwater Valley Opera Festival and the Royal Irish Academy of Music (RIAM) for this unique cultural event, honouring Ireland’s literary history.
Hear selected texts of William Butler Yeats: poet, dramatist, writer - one of the foremost figures of 20th-century literature and one of the founders of Dublin’s Abbey Theatre at 4pm on Saturday 3rd June, 2023.
A fusion of poetry and music, delivered by some of Ireland’s brightest and most outstanding young musicians from the Royal Irish Academy of Music will be performed at St Carthage's Cathedral, in the historic town of Lismore, Co. Waterford - on the banks of the River Blackwater. Tickets €25 available online at www.blackwatervalleyopera.ie

About the Blackwater Valley Opera Festival
Ireland's Summer Opera Festival will be alive with opera, concerts, recitals and free events from 29 May - 05 June 2023. BVOF Concerts at the quirky Dromore Yard, will welcome Irish mezzo-soprano Paula Murrihy with the Irish Baroque Orchestra & Peter Whelan; Nadège Rochat and Judith Jáuregui on cello and piano and acclaimed English tenor, Ian Bostridge. Pre-book formal dining at Lismore Castle by the award-winning chef Eunice Power, and gourmet table picnics by local artisan food company, Eamo & Ró.
