We were delighted to welcome Carol Drinkwater to talk to Friends of the Princess Grace Irish Library.
You can listen to the replay :
Her new book ‘An Act of Love’ was published April 29th by Penguin Books. The theme is about saving lives in the French Alps during the Second World War. Carol found inspiration on a visit to the 12th century village of Saint-Martin-Vésubie and its museum, where she learnt of its history during the war and the deeds of generosity and courage shown by its population.
An accomplished novelist and actress, Carol achieved bestselling status with her much-loved memoirs of life on an olive farm in Provence. She spoke at the Princess Grace Irish Library several years ago. We are delighted to welcome her back virtually!
